(I was about to mercy kill her, but she saved me the trouble). We let them free-range, and they spend most of the day in the woods, so she hid all the signs from us until it was too late. Livestock is not all fun and games.

Most of the famous Hellenistic statues were stylized and had unrealistic proportions, because they found they could make the art better compared to the earlier realistically styled classical Greek statues. The problem is when it stops looking like a better-than-real version of a human and starts looking uncanny or even grotesque.
