     I remember hearing that people, and women especially are very unconsciously effected by how others smell, but only with fresh scents. A girl can literally tell her compatibility with a man based on the smell of his sweat, but only once it just comes out of him. Old body smells are just noisome.

     Sometimes I come home and notice she hasn’t changed the sheets, she said once she sleeps on my side when I’m gone because it feels nice and comfy. The sweet spot seems to be sustained, long-term use that just takes on your essence after months of use.

     I also heard that birth control and other drugs that even slightly fuck with their hormones completely remove this ability. So with how overmedicated and unhealthy we all are I wouldn't be surprised if few people can actually do it, and with it being unconscious those that can probably aren't aware of it. Speaking of which is there an equivalent to the dropping testosterone trend with women? I've never heard of such a thing but I wouldn't be surprised.

     It's not just that, but at no point in my life have I been worthy of a girlfriend. My life has just been one big downward spiral. I've never been in shape, I've never been sociable, and I've never been diligent in any of my endeavors. Even back in high school my autism was completely in control and I was a reclusive mess, orbiting around a friend group while not really connecting with any of them but doing nothing with anybody at any point if I didn't run into them by chance. And I had zero clue how to handle my crushes. In fact if I didn't develop the tendency to just not do something that I was SURE wouldn't embarrass me (something I developed from acting out constantly in elementary school) I probably would have straight up stalked a girl; and I'm pretty sure another girl got the idea that I was trying to stalk her.

All I can really advise is getting your career and life in order, build expertise in some niche of your own, and ride it out from there. Once you meet women on professional terms you can get a lot better at dealing with them. Guys in my age group are slowly getting better like that, bit by bit.

     Maybe it’s the stress of living that makes guys averse to taking on additional weight.      I find most of us have much more in our toolbox than we think, it’s jsut a matter of looking at it differently and finding out how to use it. That’s why I push guys to achieve mastery in something concrete, to the point they begin teaching it to younger folks. You get confident, get good at working a room and leading groups, and before you know it you can apply that same dad energy to talking to a woman.

     You don’t even notice when it happens, you keep her at arm’s length thinking she’s too young for you only for her friend to start backchanneling about whether your single and what you think of her.

     It wasn't nearly as bad as I made it out to be. While it's true I was an autistic weirdo (real autistic, not obsessive and nerdy autistic people use in online discourse) I did actually have a few people I was able to connect with, it's just my social anxiety stopped me from becoming anything more than acquaintances who hung out in class to pass the time. One guy actually invited me over too his house and I was unable to get myself to accept even though I desperately wanted too. They would seek me out when chance brought us to the same class or lunch time or whatever. Though if we didn't share a class I would still spend it alone but that didn't bother me, unlike my sister who clung too me once we ended up in class together with her not knowing anybody. She's always been the social person in our family and it really baffled me at the time that she couldn't handle sitting quietly alone. The best amongst them was the girl I think thought I was trying to stalk her. I (out of genuine curiosity) asked her how she went home unprompted and I'm pretty sure she lied to me. Understandable considering this unkempt socially awkward guy two feet taller than her she's been giving tons of attention too suddenly asked such a suspicious question. Though I never actually considered her for romance, both because I was genuinely uninterested in romance at the time and she supposedly had a pretty terrible break up with a guy I was friendly with. I only got his side of the story but it really painted her in a bad light. She's also the only person outside of my parents and grandparents to ever hug me, something she demanded I do while saying goodbye at the end of one school year.
     
     In general though my social skills have been under developed they seemingly advanced in sudden leaps and bounds. I genuinely believe if I'm able to get out of my current rut things will go well for me; though I don't see a way out and still get flashbacks to awkward times from high school; and am way out of practice with socializing.
     
     These last two posts have basically been impromptu trauma dumps, and I apologize for that. I really don't like shoving my issues on other people.

(I was about to mercy kill her, but she saved me the trouble). We let them free-range, and they spend most of the day in the woods, so she hid all the signs from us until it was too late. We've had to break broody hens before. It's annoying, but they screw up all the other layers and don't even hatch anything when we let them try.

I tried with ducks too, completely different nest and coop, and yet with a dozen eggs, only 2 hatched and both the mother let die from neglect. We ate those ducks soon after. I'm only going with a brooder or just buying chicks from now on.
