"Focus on yourself" does nothing. Preparing is fine, but you have to be preparing for *something*, and you refuse to say what. If it's violence then say so and stop cucking about with paragraphs about looking within yourself. Compromise with the other side is just long term destruction. Politics is the art of compromise, but if no compromise will solve the problem, why make any? Thus you have two sides unable or unwilling to compromise, and therefore no political solution.
From a moral and legal standpoint you may not want to be the side that does violence first. However, that doesn't mean you have to pretend politics is a viable path.

I also know about the looters who got shot off-camera, the split between the protest and the arsonists, and some particular fed assets that were completely useless. The blunt truth is that politics doesn't work now while violence does, and it works at remarkably low and accessible levels. That kind of defensive violence is both legally and morally sound. If you have a third better way, by all means say it. But at this point I'm pretty sure you're too retarded to even understand what I'm asking.

For actual soldiers in the field I don't know what they go for. But they've also revived the "tactical tomahawk" so they aren't thinking of hand-to-hand combat the same way.
