@Terry Yes, except they'll say it's really being replaced with the F-35. Of course the F-35 cannot do what the F-22 does. And their 6th generation air dominance fighter will only appear in some undetermined decade. By their own admission it will cost hundreds of millions of dollars per plane. And the per copy price will increase after congress cuts the numbers produced (see B-2 and F-22). -

@NitroDubs @WashedOutGundamPilot Yes, but the problem is that they cut the projected F-15EX buy drastically. They've added a few back, but it's still short of an effective force. And they can always cut again. Which they likely will. Need that money for the unobtanium to build their Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) "family of systems." -

@WashedOutGundamPilot @Ghislaine @D00B @grey That's probably an implantable loop recorder. It is placed just subcutaneous. It's used to identify and/or quantify arrhythmias that occur infrequently or unpredictably. It can also be used to see if other symptoms like syncope or even seizures are related to arrhythmias that are not obvious to the person. Recording is usually triggered by a heart rate that is either too slow, too fast, or it can be triggered manually by the person wearing it. It can be interrogated by an external reader to show an actual rhythm strip (not just heart rate) so the exact type of arrhythmia can be identified and (hopefully) a specific treatment instituted. -

@WashedOutGundamPilot @Bro-Drillard If I remember the book correctly, they were tasked with infiltrating various high security US military bases to expose their vulnerabilities. The hostage thing was somehow part of this, trying to show what might actually be done in a real crisis. I think the "torturing" part was mostly because they were sick fucks. -
