@WashedOutGundamPilot Well to be fair I only know about the ASP because I had to train with one when I was in the Air Farce. People who were never handed one wouldn’t ever know they existed unless they got smacked by one while resisting arrest.

I’m thinking more along the lines of if hyperinflation destroys the value of my fiat savings account I can trade some coins for a few million Wiemerica bux so I can buy bread and not starve. @WashedOutGundamPilot @Twoinchdestroya @PapaPole @kuon I messed with bitcoin several years ago. I didn’t like all the overhead involved in setting up my own wallet and ended up getting rid of it all. The high GPU prices due to shitcoin “mining” don’t please me much either. I’m sticking to precious metals.

I was a bit taken aback and posted a reply telling her it was a bad idea to do this, only for all her white knight sycophants to come to her defense. In the end she deleted her entire Myspace after her mom found it.

Even in my normie blue-pilled youth I knew better than to post stuff like that on the net. AOL was a mistake.

More and more, White males serving in the military are getting tired of being passed over for promotion in favor of diversity quotas even though they are more qualified. They are also tired of being lectured about how they are oppressors and must atone for all the evils that they allegedly caused. They are tired of an unjust military “justice” system that will throw them under the bus for things others in protected groups get a pass for. They are tired of their sacrifices being spat on by the ruling trash.

They only got four years out of me, and I consider myself fortunate. There are guys out there who are trying to stick it out who have to walk on eggshells lest they get hounded out at 18 years of service and lose their old-style pension. Oh did I forget to mention that they ended the pension they used to have that you could collect on immediately after doing 20 years? Once the old-guard that was grandfathered in are out that system will be gone forever.

@WashedOutGundamPilot Yeah, they were shitting on SpaceX when their first rockets failed. They also shat on them when their booster’s kept crashing trying to land. They are pretty good at landing their Falcon 9 boosters now.

This rocket is so fucking big that there’s a lot of unknown territory they are dealing with trying to fly it. I watched an interview from a year or so ago with Elon giving a tour of Starbase. He said that SpaceX engineers had a long list of all the things that could possibly go wrong in testing Starship. But all the things that actually went wrong were things NOT on that list.

To be honest though, I’m pretty fucking impressed that sonovabitch held together for as long as it did while spinning like that. Had to have put a lot of strain on the rocket yet it didn’t buckle.

@WashedOutGundamPilot The booster destroyed all the concrete under the launch mount. It excavated a massive pit. Maybe they should have used a flame trench like was used on the other big rockets. The fuel farm also sustained a lot of damage and last I checked they are still without power. I believe the tower lights are running on a backup battery right now.

With all the damage sustained I don’t know if they will be able to launch again anytime soon. There’s a lot of repair work to be done.

@WashedOutGundamPilot @Ariovistus Hmm, let’s see here. Hands aren’t free to hold a weapon to engage the enemy while flying. After landing you have dangling jet pods and a bulky backpack weighing you down. Don’t ask them to enter tight doorways and maneuver through narrow corridors.

The landings looked nice and smooth for an unopposed approach. Now try it with enemies shooting back at you and you can’t shoot back. You have to come to a stop, then hover down to the deck while totally exposed to enemy fire and pray they don’t shoot you before you can free your hands to grab your rifle. Can you go prone then get back up easily? What happens if you get hit and fall into the sea? Can you free yourself from all that junk before you drown?

Why not just use a helicopter? That’s what they were invented for right?

@WashedOutGundamPilot @EssentialUtinsil @IAMAL_PHARIUS When I was at Bagram years ago there was a daily Intel brief on SIPRNet that I had access to. I don’t recall the computer having a printer connected though. That would seem like a big security risk IMHO.

Anyways, it had info on various happenings in the country. I don’t think any of that info was something I needed to know to do my job, but there it was for anyone with a SIPRNet computer. So it wouldn’t surprise me if there are people with access to secret info without there being a legit need to know it.

I still don’t buy it though. Why would ANG Intel guys be handling secret documents like that stateside? Don’t they have flunkies in the Pentagram to do that for them?

@WashedOutGundamPilot I remember as a teenager having one of my high school teachers tell me straight up that the military does medical experiments on troops. I didn’t believe it at the time, being a normie military brat and having a high opinion of that institution. It took a four year enlistment to disabuse me of that sentiment.

@WashedOutGundamPilot Well, at least where I am it seems all the places are understaffed. And the boomers around here that frequent these places are pretty uppity and impatient. One thing I can’t figure out is where did all the workers go? It seems to be a problem everywhere, including at my work. They had to do a 14% raise just to help entice more people to work here. Which is great for me, but I don’t know if it’s gonna be enough to attract new people. One department has maybe 30% of the staff they should have. However, part of the problem is the management there fucks with their employees, so they get pissed off and quit. I’m fortunate in that respect. I’m so far away from the admin building that I never interacted with HR again after the day I was hired.

@WashedOutGundamPilot Is it just me, or have they been jacking up the calculated percentages on the check too? IIRC in the past they would have tip calculations for 15%, 18% and 20%. Now I’m seeing stuff like 18%, 20%, 25% and such.

@TheWeez Apparently a lot of people are living paycheck to paycheck. They have nothing to fall back on if they lose their income. 200 years ago families mostly lived on farms and could grow their own food. Plus women could make clothes and in general people were self-sufficient. They had neighbors they could count on to keep an eye on things and look after the wife and kids if something happened to the father. We don’t have that anymore. Which is by design, the powers that be want us all dependent on the system for our sustenance so we won’t want to rock the boat. Why do you think they make it so hard to fix things now, and you have to have a permit and hire people with the right credentials even for minor improvements to your property?

For every loud-mouth, larping pussy who talks a good game but doesn’t act, there are many more who have already done the cost/benefit analysis (because that’s what Whites do) and say nothing, because they know taking action alone is just gonna get them crushed by the feds and nobody will back them up. Right now the best option for us is to keep working quietly to improve our position until the system collapses. We should be thankful that our enemies are such retarded, spiteful mutants. Their system is already unraveling before us, and they aren’t smart enough to save it.
