Once the original creators of this Brave New World die off, their spoiled bratty hellspawn will take the wheel and crash it into a brick wall at full speed.      @Boomerman I think they’re inept, but they’re also inhuman, and they’re gonna inherit systems that streamline killing. It’s not too likely, but I can see a thread of things where they have zero qualms about accepting an algorithmic anti-terror target that sends a drone strike to an idaho bomb shelter when the state’s under a secession/state of “emergency”.

     I have to remind myself that they’re all on psych meds now….bodes poorly for trying to make projections based on sanity as a norm

     @WashedOutGundamPilot The only part I take serious issue is with “Russia and China aren’t rotting.” People are too keyed into the cycle of empires and see America declining and assume that China/Russia are the assertive, masculine force rising up to take its place as things go in the cycle of empires. But none of them are immune to the liberal rot that’s afflicting the entire world, even if lgbt progress is slower there feminism has its hooks deep: their women are working and their birth rates are falling, demographically they aren’t looking like they’ll survive the next century either. Don’t get me wrong, the American empire will fall eventually and something will take its place, and it may even turn out to be based Xi putting han women back in the kitchen and saving China who turns it around, but as it currently stands we are all rotting together, some of us are just rotting a little bit faster.

     @SerfnUSA I’ve come to describe it as different, but convergent forms of Globohomo. We have Globohomo 20.3, while the russians are using the older Globohomo 9.8 from the 90’s. The chinks have a domestic-market version of Globohomo 9.8 with some funky additions, but the base OS is still there.

     They were a country of rice farmers in the 70s. Theres maybe 2 generations between subsistence farming and post-industrial society there. As unprepared for modernity as we were, they are even more so.

As the NSDAP rose up they started fighting these commies. Despite being outnumbered theyd always win because the commies would immediately run to the state and beg for protection. This worked early on because the NSDAP was small but eventually the balance shifted because the people really loved seeing the commies get their ass kicked.

While casual abortiofacients exist even among primitive peoples, nothing to this extent has ever existed, and humanity needs to adapt. It likely won't be necessary for most women to have large families, but levelling out birth rates is needed to keep from dying out.

The problem is that liberalism and liberal values are deeply intrenched as the bedrock of literally everyone’s worldview. When Russia and China criticize America they are basically just doing DR3. The communist perspective is the same as the liberal perspective on the relevant social issue driving total worldwide collapse, which is to say that they also fundamentally believe in sexual equality. And that’s really all that matters. There are plenty of other things that make life worth living but the most basic fundamental question of “will your nation continue to exist for another 100 years” can be summed up easily as “are your women working or are they making babies?” If they’re making babies, you live, if they’re working, you die. And everywhere on earth that matters, they’re working. Even the places that don’t matter like subSaharan Africa are moving that direction. Nobody seems capable of moving away from the current paradigm even though it’s currently killing them because “women’s rights” is seen as such a fundamental moral good by the ruling classes of virtually every country, who all get the same liberal or communist upbringing. The first non shithole country that is able to assert an independent elite with the first principles of “no gay shit, no working women” will inherit the earth. As of now nobody has stepped up.

Rome was the main example of an empire that had no real competition or threats and slowly collapsed from within. There's too many variables, but the main outcomes I can think of are Second Dark Ages, humanity wiped out by AI, horrifying zombified cyberpunk dystopia, and I want to believe in some sort of positive solution but I don't see any Great Man coming to end it from without, and the system has no capacity to reform itself from within.

Sgt daquan forgot a number when calculating fuel needs.      @Boomerman @Bro-Drillard @ArdainianRight For a lot of the time they’ll have plenty of leeway, they have enough distribution, enough of a fleet, and enough range that they can shuffle a lot around without worry.

     Guys seem to think all these AFB’s are like the sandbox where they jammed stations right next to multistory buildings perfect for mortar strikes. Every one I pass I see a whole lot of wide open sightlines and easily covered approaches. If their airfield is under direct threat, the region will be in a significant state of collapse already, to the point people aren’t showing up to work anywhere else either.

     Before we hit that point I see years of them turning up the heat to the point they can treat the country like iraq without too much pushback, they’ll just take out buildings and bunches and wave it away as blowing up terrorists on the cusp of a mass attack
