BroDrillard (brodrillard@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Tuesday, 21-Nov-2023 03:36:48 JST BroDrillard The first rumor was Altman got fired because his sister publicly complained he molested her. What happened to that story? Sis got some millions to STFU? -
BroDrillard (brodrillard@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Saturday, 18-Nov-2023 21:38:09 JST BroDrillard If greens were about green, they’d support nuclear power because that’s the greenest when you take alternatives in their entirety into account. Their opposition to nuclear power makes it clear they’re anti-civilization.
In addition their funding is likely from elites moneyed scum that want to reduce (White) population.

BroDrillard (brodrillard@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Friday, 17-Nov-2023 05:39:42 JST BroDrillard It's obviously not organic. Member that greentext about dialing their shit back for now to get Whites back on board? At any given moment jews will always tell you the lie that helps them. -
BroDrillard (brodrillard@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Monday, 13-Nov-2023 23:47:35 JST BroDrillard Pirate radio stations are not a new invention, they have existed for decades.
Besides, dafuq is "social moderation"? Sounds like another jewish wordgame for "jew approved speech". -
BroDrillard (brodrillard@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Monday, 13-Nov-2023 18:15:31 JST BroDrillard Sure, I wouldn't watch them all the time. But it's refreshing to watch occasionally. -

BroDrillard (brodrillard@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Monday, 13-Nov-2023 17:58:36 JST BroDrillard K-On is about girls playing in a high-school band and being cute. Drinking tea and eating cake while being cute. Nothing much else happens. Did I mention they’re cute?
Lot’s of memes were made with the K-On girls.
If you like music themed stuff Bocchi the Rock, is also good.

BroDrillard (brodrillard@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Monday, 13-Nov-2023 17:37:41 JST BroDrillard Bebop is a full story arc. If you've just seen a couple of random episodes you missed the epicness. :) -
BroDrillard (brodrillard@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Monday, 13-Nov-2023 17:35:41 JST BroDrillard I'd say that for somebody from a western audience new to anime Cowboy Bebop (the anime NOT the live action) is required watching.
There are a few other "cultural touchstones" like K-On but I leave it to you to list them :) -
BroDrillard (brodrillard@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Monday, 13-Nov-2023 17:27:59 JST BroDrillard The two best westerns IMO are The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1967), and Once Upon a Time in the West (1968). After those I’d watch The Wild Bunch (1969) and the other two movies in Eastwood’s “Dollars Trilogy”: A Fistful of Dollars (1964) and For a Few Dollars More (1965). An entertaining and funny take is My Name Is Nobody (1974).

BroDrillard (brodrillard@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Monday, 13-Nov-2023 17:20:30 JST BroDrillard Agree, I also think Brosnan was the most entertaining Bond. The old Connery ones are good too. I didn't like the recent Bond movies with Daniel Craig at all. -
BroDrillard (brodrillard@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Monday, 13-Nov-2023 17:13:58 JST BroDrillard >I want to say he had a "ghost writer" writing for him towards the end
Absolutely. I think Clancy sold his name for a lot of money and later books were written by others.
Indiana Jones is a cool concept. The character was based on 1930s 40s "Men's Adventure" characters, e.g. Allan Quatermain. Exploring exotic locations, battling villains, and seeking ancient treasures. Of course Hebrewood made the villains in Indiana nahtzees. But if you can look past that they're cool adventure tales. -
BroDrillard (brodrillard@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Monday, 13-Nov-2023 17:04:41 JST BroDrillard I like the Mission Impossible movies. They're sorta like Bond but more like a team thing with more humor. Think Pierce Brosnan's Bond. -
BroDrillard (brodrillard@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Monday, 13-Nov-2023 17:04:39 JST BroDrillard Yes, GWOT related and Tom Clancy's later thrillers didn't age well. IIRC Reilly's books aren't really in that GWOT genre. It's somewhat like "modern day spec-ops Indiana Jones" in various settings. -
BroDrillard (brodrillard@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Monday, 13-Nov-2023 16:56:52 JST BroDrillard Ice Station Zebra was probably a great movie at its time. IIRC they had a real sub in it and shiet. But it can't compete with the spectacle movies can show these days, e.g. Mission Impossible. -
BroDrillard (brodrillard@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Monday, 13-Nov-2023 16:46:30 JST BroDrillard If you're into arctic stuff there's also the cold war espionage movie/book Ice Station Zebra. -
BroDrillard (brodrillard@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Monday, 13-Nov-2023 16:45:48 JST BroDrillard If you like cinematic fight scenes and a bulletproof protag, yes. If you're interested in at least somewhat realistic action, then that's not the book for you :)
