@dictatordave @sickburnbro Somehow, some way, it makes sense. Not only are they God's chosen, but most especially, there's hasbara to justify how they can have that attitude of "We don't respect you, but you have to respect us," or whatever.
Honestly, theirs is something that we should envy. I get why people hate them, but do you not wish you had capabilities like they had? Access to infinite resources, possessing the knowledge to act above the law and be exempt of legal repercussions, the ability to sway the masses to your side....what does it take to have that power? I don't think being chosen by God is enough. 🤔

@dictatordave @BowsacNoodle @sickburnbro Well, that's not what I meant, but you touch upon one of the capabilities I listed, the ability to sway masses to their side, so I'll cut you a break.
What I was trying to imply was that having all that power would require great responsibility, and I don't think anybody can resist utilizing those powers for misdeeds, like say "because they can". If we had the perks that they had, someone is going to abuse it. 🤔

@alchemy @matrix In retrospect, that wouldn't be surprising. I don't think people in those parts of the world grow to be very tall, and they probably didn't back then. Granted, I'm making a generalization, considering that there were a few tall people here and there, especially long prior to Jesus's time.
But I don't know. Even if Jesus was a manlet, he'd still be the most kick-ass guy to be around.

@ChristiJunior @rlier23 Playing the Devil's advocate here, but.....what if he wasn't prepared for something like this? Think about it. All he did was create a group that listed games by SBI. The list of games was provided by SBI's website, so no harm was even done. The group doesn't seem consist of a bunch of extremists, either. Who of us could predict that such an innocuous action would trigger a shit-fest that would lead towards GameGate 2.0? If I were in his position and saw that I and others were getting hounded by mainstream gaming journalists, I wouldn't know how to handle it.
I guess, when an innocent action results in extreme circumstances, you have to adapt, somehow. When it comes to being interviewed by a journalist, though, there's no telling what would happen if you say the wrong thing. But, it would seem like this guy was trying to get on the journalist's good side, and I remember how a lot of those folk are insufferable, so it could've been a wasted effort.

We gave these people a chance, but the videogame industry has become corrupted and parasitized as a result. The only way change is going to happen is by destroying the disease within the industry.

Oh. Personally, I'll cut him a break there; things weren't as intense in 2013 as they are now. Nowadays, if someone replies to some crybully with a based response, there's no turning back, no matter what.
As for Dragon's Crown.....personally, I've got a shit-ton on my plate, particularly the Trails series, and right now I'm still having at it with FF7 Rebirth. Next month is Stellar Blade, and some time eventually, EDF6. However, if Dragon's Crown gets a re-release that isn't pozzed, I will consider it. But, Trails is going to be a priority for this year; I still haven't started Trails 3rd, and then there's Trails from Zero, Trails to Azure, and Trails of Cold Steel I & II. I haven't been able to shell out a lot of MMD videos this year, either. 😭

@SIC_Guy @ChristiJunior Dragon's Crown....wasn't that thee ground zero of GamerGate? That would've been over ten years ago. People complained about the female characters having exaggerated proportions. I saw a friend playing the game, but I remember having a tooth-ache during that time and I wasn't able to appreciate it. I didn't think it was terrible nor misogynistic, although I wasn't big on the fantasy genre; that tooth-ache just took over.
As for one of the developers standing their ground, good on him. He shouldn't have had to apologize, but times were a little different then, when apologizing would still have been seen as the polite thing to do. In fairness, it is polite to apologize. However, the people they apologize to don't get it, and they often see it as blood in the water....more specifically, that's giving them an inch. And when you give them an inch, they will take the Universe.

The SBI Detector group hasn't really even done anything wrong. The list of games they have is right from SBI's website. If anything, the "harm" in question is just the risk of those games not selling....not that I should care about that, because SBI seems to shit things up. Then again, SBI seems to include "remnants" of certain parties during the original GamerGate thing in 2014. By "parties", I mean individuals, but I couldn't find a better plural word.
One of them went into the group and left a long-ass post, culminating in a "It's [CURRENT YEAR]" statement. Kind of. Screenshots enclosed for sake of clarity. Take from them what you will, because it features an avatar of a manly-sounding anime girl, but know that the text shown in the images references who we're up against. One can only speculate if the "It's [CURRENT YEAR]!" argument continues to hold weight for things such as the way videogames are.

@Griffith The swamp needs to be drained. Trump could only do so much. It was up to We, the People, to make America great again. Thus, it is up to We, the People, to keep America great, which means preserving its history, its sovereignty, its status as a global superpower, and most importantly, preserving our way of life. Freedom, civil rights, opportunities....the founding principles of America.
But what can we do? We, the People, make up the biggest percentage, compared to the SJW-types and the elites, who have the loudest voice and the most resources, respectively. If suddenly, one day, every American decided "Enough is enough," joined forces and committed, nothing could stop them. I hate to paraphrase Jill Valentine's comment about the wheels of justice during the intro to RE3 (from 1999), but I can't think of a better comparison.
Oh, but, on the other hand, a civil war in America would be an opportunity for the other superpowers to strike. 😩
I don't know. It never hurts to hope. I'm just opinionated about things, thinking there's no closing Pandora's Box. But, I'm not some arbiter of truth or some exalted shit. Know that it never hurts to hope for America's survival.

The term "Nazi" is meant to imply someone who is belligerent with their views, almost akin to being authoritarian....though, maybe "Nazi" is antiquated, if not overused...but, the globohomo agenda is seeking to shove queer ideologies on the rest of the world, so does it not make sense?

But when you say "You can't undo that," I hate to say it, but I think we've come this far over the years that there's no turning back. I don't know what will happen if we try to turn back, aside from, maybe, everybody screeching about their liberties being stripped from them....because, a lot of this is tied to freedom and civil rights; even the degenerate shit is part of "free expression", even if it's indecent and immoral.
I fear I'm just digging my hole each time I try to stick up for myself here. I'm opinionated about a lot of things, but know that I don't like degeneracy being pushed on people, especially children.
