     @justnormalkorean @BroDrillard Yeah I’ve seen the books for some of the “successful” ones, they aren’t making shit. Even at the 1 million sub mark they make about what a wendy’s manager does on adrev alone, some of those brand deals are only a few hundred dollars, too.

     The only successful-ish ones have a dedicated patron base paying monthly, and they tend to be very niche communities

     On the other hand it's still a pretty jewy situation. If I was a multi-billionaire, I would set up trust funds for my parents and siblings, so they'd never have to worry about the basics ever again. I wouldn't buy a dozen Ferraris each, but their healthcare, a roof over their heads, living expenses would be covered even without them having to ask for it.
