If an amateur VA will work for free without hassle, sure, do that. But even before AI I don't think there was a horde of actual, putting-in-the-effort VAs doing free work for mods like this.

@okuu @WashedOutGundamPilot My innovative efforts go into my personal projects. Work used to get the bare minimum, but after pressuring me to get the jab in 2021, it sometimes gets even less.
Every week there's another commentator talking about the slowdown in innovation, the stagnation in tangible improvements across a variety of fields. The only response now is "lol, lmao".

@WashedOutGundamPilot Bottom right. He's been around long enough to understand technology sucks. He's one of those guys who does 8 hours of work in 1 hour, then goes AFK having hit the required productivity threshold.
If you can manage that guy into doing 2 hours of work, you'll get more out of him than any energy drink slamming tryhard.

@weaf @Heil_Honkler It didn't say devices, it said media. Maybe they did basic precautions like taking phones, but didn't thoroughly search through personal kit so there's SD cards and thumb drives.

@Jean_Philippe_Micheaux @sickburnbro There's 10 million economics bloggers, podcasts, and books all doing their version of "here's why GDP is a bad measure". It's one of the last bipartisan, across the spectrum things economists agree with.
Then everybody immediately fixates on GDP again when the number comes out and pretends it means something useful.

@monsterislandcolonizer @DEERBLOOD @ChristiJunior It doesn't even matter WHAT she is saying, that trope ruins even the Strong White Guy games. This exact never-shutting-up thing was a problem in the last Uncharted, and in God of War: Ragnarok.
The last is annoying because they got the balance right in the previous game, then someone cranked up the NEVER HAVE A MOMENT WITHOUT DIALOG dial to 11 for the sequel. Inevitably, you run out of things to say, and the sarcasm, Marvel-style quips, or meta commentary creeps in where it really shouldn't be.
Now you're telling me a New York woman never shutting up is a selling feature of the game? GTFO
