@Shadowman311 @teknomunk @one_of_three I've talked to people who claim that cars should be banned because if they are, politicians will be "forced" to make public transport work.
This is how they think, it's naive, and completely magical thinking about everything. Solutions will manifest because people have no alternatives once those evil cars are removed. In reality, life just gets more miserable.
However, even if this worked, I'd be against it. Not having personal transport means not having freedom. Don't forget they required vaccine passports to use public transport here. -

@synapsid @SrbijaStronk Good based stuff was made when being based was rewarded with high status. Now it's low status and anyone who makes it is low status, anyone who makes goyslop is rewarded with the good jobs and the good reputation.
People who are smart will choose to either make goyslop or just not enter the entertainment industry whatsoever. Few of them want to become rejects with very little hope of succeeding. And they will always lack funding and face backlash.
Our society is mostly unable to produce good content at this point. I think you have to approach everything with that understanding. -

But modern sexual morality predicates that women are the ones who choose, and men need to serve them, put pussy on a pedestal. It's the example movies set for men, and how they are told to act. Serve women and you too will get some pussy.
What I find quite perverse is how this is taken even a step further when the figure of the bitter "nice guy", that is, the man who is doing everything as they say he should, but not getting any, is vilified.
You *can't* expect to get anything from women just because you do things for them, can you?
And they are right about this, but for all the wrong reasons. Women do not like servile men, and attraction is not negotiable. Being honorable or good has nothing to do with it.
The behaviour they are attracted to hasn't changed in 100 000 years any more than men liking tits and asses have in that time span. No amount of social propaganda changes any of this. It's instinctual and ancient for both sexes. -

And I would not be surprised if they allow the existence of some "nazi" paramilitary group to recruit the youth. The people in it might well believe in what they're saying, but it would still only serve as a way to build a working army which they can send to the slaughter later. They've seen it work with Azov in Ukraine, they could do it again in the US. -

Remember that in the 1930s right after Hitler got elected, the US actually started rolling back feminism in many ways. They knew they had to win the war.
It isn't as obvious today looking back, but women got the right to vote in the 20s, and yet feminism only returned in the late 60s, an entire generation after WW2. There's a reason they talk about "first wave" and "second wave" feminism. It was interrupted.
The 20s weren't just far more degenerate than the 50s because of the economic bubble. That's just the surface level explanation. -

The high value placed on the latter is mostly due to how much status we place on the institutions granting them.
I think it's interesting to think of college not as a place where you learn useful things, but as a place that bestows you the status of college-degree-haver, effectively putting you in a higher social class.
This is how people tend to think of college even if they don't say it explicitly -

They know working for them is necessary for a prospect cook's career, so they'll pay next to nothing to the point where it could be losing them money in gas to commute.
I know the junior staff of one such restaurant quit en masse at some point. -

@deprecated_ii @flappypaddle @caekislove @WashedOutGundamPilot Teens are just worth less money. Why would you hire teens if not to pay them less than adults? They have to handle extra legal liabilities and bureaucracy to hire them, and they're more likely to be less professional and cause trouble.
For 15$ an hour I can't feel bad for them. Adults working at McDonald's here can make as low as 3-4$ depending on how many hours they take, and our rent is higher than a lot of places in the US. -

Especially among the higher places, they will be replaced by fairly insane and less intelligent people, who are currently able to shit up the country under the protection of a still somewhat stable elite (which also restrains them).
