Ublock's worked just fine for me since they started detecting adblock.

@coolboymew @berkberkman @ChristiJunior Easy can serve it's purpose for more arcade style games or certain roguelites. Easy is often a shorter playthrough in such games as well.
It's Easy Mode because you load it up to get a grasp of the basics before moving on. Maybe not if you're familiar with the genre.
I think most of the hate on easy modes these days stems from all the unskippable tutorials, it's inclusion inappropriate genres, and mutant offspring super easy modes.
