     @ChristiJunior I haven't actually played a pokémon game in a long ass fucking time, but Scarlet and Violet I've consistently heard were ass. S/S wasn't *terrible* (fuck you Hop, you stupid little fuck) but it could've been a lot better. @coolboymew @VD15

     @coolboymew @VD15 I dunno - I see plenty of people *defend* Scarlet/Violet, it being "open world" was literally all it took for someone like Arlo to rank it as one of the best games of 2022.

     @ChristiJunior @VD15 @coolboymew Showdown provides the same (but better and for free) gameplay, sans glitching up mountains.
     There are Minecraft mods that provide a better open world Pokemon game.
     Paid reviewers and cattle are the only ones who'd defend this slop.
