     @monsterislandcolonizer I keep saying it in the podcast, but the premise of the whole thing is really weird. It's one of those weird have your cake and eat it too thing, it's an harem parody AND a proper harem at the same time
     
     Basically, you have Japan which gets invaded by "spirits" and creates huge timespace bubbles that destroys a shitload of things
     
     So you have the MC's little sister who is somehow the leader of an organisation to save the spirits. How? Date them, make their hearts go dokidoki and then seal them by kissing them. To help Shidou, there's a team of fucking loser aboard the ship Fraxinus who has dating sim advice to give him during the dates
     
     However at the same time, it's a proper harem, and it has plenty of serious moments
     
     The thing is, first arc sucks hard, first and main girl is the worst girl in the harem, and it basically doesn't get really good until Kurumi appears
     
     If you manage to get over that "Well that's weird..." wall, then it's a fantastic watch

     @monsterislandcolonizer also as with everything that was planned to have a core amount of characters, it doesn't get good until everyone is properly introduced and more characters appears. It's ALWAYS like that
