    @ForbiddenDreamer @mischievoustomato @veff @KingDenizen @WashedOutGundamPilot Sewing is the way to go, but I've recently started using quick stitch iron-on tape on stuff. You can hide stitches pretty easily if you use clear poly thread or fishing line. Small French seam on the inside and a bit of fabric glue and iron on seam seal over top and it's not going anywhere.

    It sounds to me like they went after this for protectionism reasons. They're certainly an activist group, but that doesn't mean they're wrong about everything.

IMO this is just evidence that dudes who were in combat, assuming that's true, probably shouldn't be "peace officers" working with civilians.     I don't get into arguments about that, because skill-based competition is cool even when the barrier to entry is a lot lower for some things than others. I like watching basketball around 5th or 6th grade because the kids height differences can sometimes be hilarious. There's sometimes the small point guard kid who can run circles around the big dude on the other team.

    @thatguyoverthere Hockey is legit, and I agree it was better when we were kids :boomer_rock: but that's a lot of things. I too am a fan of participating in sports rather than simply speculating. I do like watching live sports though, especially if it's my kids playing.
