     @BowsacNoodle I played minecraft. I can't get into watching football all much anymore. I liked it as a kid, but I always had more fun playing than watching sports. I can enjoy a good hockey game but they've nerfed it to much these days IMO. The gloves almost never come off.

     @thatguyoverthere I watched. Interesting to see an actual close match. Haters will say it's fake, but I don't know how much influence refs can have over NFL (I actually do not know). NBA playoffs seems incredibly "sus", as the zoomies would say.

     @thatguyoverthere Hockey is legit, and I agree it was better when we were kids :boomer_rock: but that's a lot of things. I too am a fan of participating in sports rather than simply speculating. I do like watching live sports though, especially if it's my kids playing.

     @BowsacNoodle mine were band geeks but they're out of school now. My son is in a band which is pretty cool. One thing that sucks about highschool sports is very few will have the chance to turn that effort into something they can do for fun and maybe even money down the road. Anyone can start a band. I've not known anyone to start a sports team. I do have a friend who plays on a pool league but I don't know if we can safely call pool a sport.

     I don't get into arguments about that, because skill-based competition is cool even when the barrier to entry is a lot lower for some things than others. I like watching basketball around 5th or 6th grade because the kids height differences can sometimes be hilarious. There's sometimes the small point guard kid who can run circles around the big dude on the other team.
