@minespatch @Herman_Hetherington Could be something. For all we know they're just trying to keep money flowing to US agriculture and doing it under the guise of "Black Farmers" or protectionism or anything else accomplishes the same goal.

They said the same thing about glyphosate (Roundup), and they still maintain the same official opinion despite growing evidence (and common sense TBH) indicating otherwise.

It sounds to me like they went after this for protectionism reasons. They're certainly an activist group, but that doesn't mean they're wrong about everything.
