She's a flesh eater, an unnatural fusion of two different beings that were meant to coexist along side one another, not become one. She underwent this transformation due to her abusive driver, who desperately wanted his daughter back. He projected his frustrations onto Nia, ultimately culminating in her pretending to be her drivers daughter to appease his twisted fantasy.
She's burdened with this rejection of her true self, and almost gets to the point of hating the world, before she's rescued by gigachad Rex. He teaches her to embrace her true self, the one her "father" told her to reject, and it sets her free. -

They don't understand what it means. They've just been mind raped into thinking that, for example, because they have a low sex drive they must be asexual. Or that because the don't have feelings for anyone in their class that they're aromantic. Or other totally normal feelings that groomers tell them belong to some gay faggot spectrum. -
ignika98 (ignika98@fedi.treeoflifecomic.com)'s status on Wednesday, 03-May-2023 08:51:40 JST ignika98 Not to mention that the idea of the cold and calculating masculine side needing to be balanced with a kind and caring feminine side to complete a person is lost on them.
I can't tell if they're genuinely unaware of how heavily the Xeno series uses this idea, or if they're just ignoring that fact. -

ignika98 (ignika98@fedi.treeoflifecomic.com)'s status on Wednesday, 03-May-2023 08:38:12 JST ignika98 Why is this even a discussion? My first thought upon seeing A in the trailer was "oh look a female Alvis". That's all there was to it. Gender swapping characters is a trope as old as time, and you can have a lot of fun with the idea.
Lefty fags are so obsessed with gender that the simple fact that there's a female version of a male character isn't enough for them. It NEEDS to have something to do with their retarded cultish gender ideology, lest they shrivel up into their rotting axe wound and perish. -

ignika98 (ignika98@fedi.treeoflifecomic.com)'s status on Tuesday, 02-May-2023 15:19:18 JST ignika98 Yeah ofc. IMO once you have a child they become THE single most important thing in you and your wife's lives.
Speaking of children, Xenoblade 3 was the first game in the series to outright have childbirth and family as important themes. But Xenoblade 2 did touch on the idea as well in it's own way.
One of Jin's biggest gripes with the world was how blades are bound to humans and are forced to return to their cores when their driver dies, stripping them of their memories in the process. Many blades, not just Jin, considered this a cruel and unfair fate. And on the surface it seems like it is.
However, let me pose the question: is there any meaningful difference between a blade being summoned from it's core, and a human having a child?
Both share an unbreakable bond from the moment they appear, both rely on each other for most if not all of their lives, and most importantly, both are used to pass down knowledge and goals beyond the scope of one's lifetime.
Hell, you see some blades taking care of old civilians like adult children would take care of their parents. Vess springs to mind immediately. I think that's an often overlooked theme of Xenoblade 2. And one that deserves more analysis.
You could even go as far as to say that flesh eaters are a metaphor for children from broken homes, or orphans. After all, the preatorium made all the flesh eaters you see in game. And Amalthus' backstory is essentially just that. He has his parents ripped away from him at a young age, helping spark his hatred for the world. You could say that his flesh eater experiments were a way to try and push his own suffering and trauma onto others. -

Dude literally threw away EVERYTHING, his goals, his ideals, even his own children, just so he could spend eternity with his wife, who didn't even want that.
Ofc this makes Noah a huge fucking simp too but at least he doesn't go that far. -

ignika98 (ignika98@fedi.treeoflifecomic.com)'s status on Saturday, 29-Apr-2023 04:38:15 JST ignika98 Saga is way more deserving of a remake, honestly. People talk about how Gears story got fucked in development, but at least that game was able to somewhat realize it's vision, even if they had to sacrifice actual gameplay.
Xenosaga's story went completely off the rails right after the first game, and the entire third game had to be spent cleaning up the mess that the second one made. We never even got a chance to see what the original plan for the series was before Bamco decided to rape the series into oblivion.
Not to mention the fact that gears is way more accessible, and the only way to play Saga nowadays is to emulate it, or pay out the ass for 3 overpriced old ps2 games. -
ignika98 (ignika98@fedi.treeoflifecomic.com)'s status on Saturday, 29-Apr-2023 04:35:29 JST ignika98 Xenoblade 2 is honestly an outlier in the series when it comes to fanservice. None of the other Xeno games had that kind of approach to it. Then again, it fit in Xenoblade 2's case since the story is all about Rex maturing as a person and learning what it means to "be a man". -
ignika98 (ignika98@fedi.treeoflifecomic.com)'s status on Saturday, 29-Apr-2023 04:35:28 JST ignika98 I meant in terms of fanservice in the actual story, not the character designs. But even then, none of the DLC outfits are 1:1 recreations of the originals. Euine's is a mix between both Melia and Fiora, Taion's is missing the wings and has gold accents added to it, Noah has a different hoodie and Lanz has way less orange. They're all slightly edited to better fit the Xenoblade 3 cast. Cause, lets be real, Mio is way to modest to wear the kind of outfit Nia does in her blade form, and Sena doesn't have the chest to pull of Brighid's outfit at all.
IMO if it really was full on censorship, they would have only changed the offending parts of the original designs ala Super Smash Bros. -
ignika98 (ignika98@fedi.treeoflifecomic.com)'s status on Saturday, 29-Apr-2023 04:17:37 JST ignika98 I doubt that's the case. Xenoblade 2 sold heaps more than 1 and X.
I won't go into too much detail yet, but the gist of my theory is that Takahashi is tired of repeating the same kind of story over and over again since Gears. Yet whenever he tries to branch away from those roots, he always finds himself sucked back towards trying to recreate perfect works. -
ignika98 (ignika98@fedi.treeoflifecomic.com)'s status on Saturday, 29-Apr-2023 04:08:46 JST ignika98 I have a kind of meta-analysis theory of how Takahashi uses the Xenoblade trilogy to express his feelings as a creator that could explain why 3 is so "detached" from the other two games, but I'm waiting until I finish Future Redeemed before I draw any conclusions. -
ignika98 (ignika98@fedi.treeoflifecomic.com)'s status on Saturday, 29-Apr-2023 03:54:31 JST ignika98 I trust Monolith to handle their own characters better than that. Rex is in no way, shape or form a himbo. He's a self made man from a young age. I don't know why anyone would think otherwise. -
