     Why is this even a discussion? My first thought upon seeing A in the trailer was "oh look a female Alvis". That's all there was to it. Gender swapping characters is a trope as old as time, and you can have a lot of fun with the idea.

     I’d bet if you were to poll the people identifying as asexual, you’d find they’re chronic masturbators, like 2-5 times per day, and they mistake their perennial lack of arousal for a vacant libido. In reality, it’s just been super compartmentalized, to the point they pretend it doesn’t exist.

     Because to them, sex isn’t a two-person thing, it’s a self-thing. It’s taken on a totally different feel than solo playtime. They end up getting worse by building up the idea of IRL sex as they get more awkward and introverted, too.

     Add in the fact that they can fall under the rainbow and undo their “cis/hetero/white privilege and join the hord of uglies, and it would make sense. Of course, I don’t have much to base this off of. It’s just a suspicion after seeing friends and roommates who acted like they were too cool to ‘waste time’ chasing women only to spend that time masturbating.
