Richard Spencer made the point last night on the Killstream (sober Ralph) 'Jose is OK' and that the real threat to middle class of USA are legal immigration Asians - mean Indians and Chinks etc. He didnt deny "growing up in Texas" that there was a problem with illegal immigration from southern border . Trump gets pressure from silicon valley over HB1 visas but Chinks and pakis will never make 'good Americans' as Jose might as they are just too different etc.

@Humpleupagus @coolboymew @Hyperhidrosis @Moon I read a paper that spot reduction IS possible under circumstances ie vigorously massaging area for 15 mins *before* (aerobic) exercise. I think they used one of those muscle massage vibro gadgets. Primes the fat from that area to be used rather than using fat stores from 'everywhere at once'. Guess combining with Keto would help.

The academic paper/study was from some Iranian university. I read it a while ago and haven't been able to find it since.
Arnold also thought spot reduction *was* possible. He wrote in his Bodybuilding Encyclopedia that although 'spot reduction' was not possible according to the literature, that certain exercises such as broomstick twists for the obliques worked in a way *like* spot reduction.
Maybe those old timey gyms had it right after all?

White feathering predates even WW1 but in this story it was about Kitchener's campaign against the fuzzy wuzzies in the 1890s. NB white feathers were sent by fellow hofficers and chap's fiancé REFUSED to give him the white feather.

I'm also reminded of the Dads Army episode where Arnold Ridley's character Godfrey revealed to be a 'damned conchie' (Conscientious Objector in WW1) and is shunned by other members of the platoon. It is still later revealed that Godfrey served as a stretcher bearer and won a medal for bravery. IRL the actor was invalided out of WW1 but also served in WW2. The actor was left with lifelong injuries.

I read the Bible pretty thoroughly when younger - the King James version - but haven't finished Skrbna's book yet. Liking it so far but I'm not much on eReaders.
Apparently there's a competing theory that Saul/Paul was an agent of Rome.
Nietzsche and other reading cured me of Christian copium a long time ago. Not remotely interested in what some rabbi is supposed to have said *especially* if the forgiving 70x7 and all the cheek-turning asthenolagnia were his. The idea that maybe there was some anti-Roman rabble-rousing-rabbi who *was* crucified (the miracles etc being added later) and that Paul alighted on this to form his own religion is interesting. Yet to see if convinced.
