@HEREWARD_SILVATICI How dare the jews trick us with the Bible by.... having Jesus Christ call them spawns of Satan and that the converts of the jews are twice the sons of hell they already are, and that they have no special status and what was supposed to be their role would go to another. As well as being called enemies of all mankind. Skrbina, much like Dalton, can't even be bothered to read the thing he calls in to question

@charliebrownau @HEREWARD_SILVATICI @reloadedAK If you actually believe the jews setup a 2000 year long grift that almost destroyed them entirely and disempowered them severely for 1500+ years, why would you bother trying to fight them? Clearly such an enemy is beyond your ability to beat.

@HEREWARD_SILVATICI @reloadedAK It's unfortunate that so many horrible people do a disservice to Christianity by misrepresentation of Christ's commandments and teachings. To think that it's about weakness (inability) rather than restraint and humility is understandable; people often mention those verses as an excuse to act without the boldness we're called to have. In the context of who Jesus is, as presented in The New Testament, you have the Ubermensch CHOOSING to sacrifice himself purely out of love for those beneath him. He could have nuked the Romans and jews who came to capture Him at Gethsemane, yet he chose to heal the cut ear of the one and willingly leave. He could have done all the things the pharisees were mocking him for and save himself from the cross. He chose it despite it being fully in His power to reject it and bring judgement in real time. He took the more difficult path for the greatest good possible for those He loves. He prayed that God would forgive those doing this to Him instead of calling for an extra dose of divine wrath. That is the antithesis of "just let them slap you and walk all over you bro" that so many people miss when they mistakenly characterize "loving your enemies" and "turning the other cheek" as signs of milquetoast slave morality. All this was to fulfill God's plan, which is to say the best strategy possible for the redemption of Man.

@BowsacNoodle @HEREWARD_SILVATICI @reloadedAK Problem with Christianity is Christianity

@reloadedAK I was taking liberties with the title, it's actual subtitle is
'How St. Paul's Cabal Fooled the World for Two Thousand Years'.
I read the Bible pretty thoroughly when younger - the King James version - but haven't finished Skrbna's book yet. Liking it so far but I'm not much on eReaders.
Apparently there's a competing theory that Saul/Paul was an agent of Rome.
Nietzsche and other reading cured me of Christian copium a long time ago. Not remotely interested in what some rabbi is supposed to have said *especially* if the forgiving 70x7 and all the cheek-turning asthenolagnia were his. The idea that maybe there was some anti-Roman rabble-rousing-rabbi who *was* crucified (the miracles etc being added later) and that Paul alighted on this to form his own religion is interesting. Yet to see if convinced.
