And I finally went with a full on stock based corporation despite it being more expensive and complex, and that was for something smaller and with less stakeholders than the NJP…

It doesn’t protect jack shit for “clients”, in the sense that they don’t need to be protected anyways from any liability since they have zero control or stake…
Now, if it was a partnership, with for example the NJP “organization” (whatever its legal status as long as it has one…) as the main partner or sole proprietor (not sure if you can do that, I know my country’s corporate law a lot better than the US one), then it would make sense, separate legally the organization from the money managing entity.
But in that case, there would be no need for it to be registered to Conte would it ^^
…
IANAL but I did do a lot of financial crap involving special purpose vehicles in my time…

MyLittleFashy (mylittlefashy@poa.st)'s status on Saturday, 18-Feb-2023 04:12:46 JST MyLittleFashy @end @matty @doctorsex @mkultra I don’t agree with your interpretation of -all- the details, but that doesn’t really matter as much as this:
I don’t know why I have to spell this out here but “NATIONAL JUSTICE LIMITED LIABILITY CORP” and “NATIONAL JUSTICE PARTY THE POLITICAL ‘ORGANIZATION’” are not the same thing. They are not the same thing.
Yeah, that’s a very good point, if it’s a sole proprietorship Conte basically can do whatever the fuck he wants and if it’s a partnership he is still required (and as such has a right) to know about anything that touches the money, that would indeed include itemized subscription statistics.
Still looks like amateurism more than nefariousness in my opinion but it’s starting to accumulate amateurism in enough layers that the lasagna starts looking pretty yummy…
Now to be fair, the amateurism is both ways, if Conte doesn’t even know what he’ signing away, what the fuck is his lawyer doing ?

That’s bad(TM)

Humans have a very valuable property that an AI does not, and it’s not because of any AI incompleteness, it’s a legal thing, humans can be blamed for shit to avoid lawsuits or at least to damage-control them.
An AI will make decisions that the corporation will be sued for, it’s a certainty, and in every single experiment the AI was shut down during the testing phase because of that fact.

Russia having mountains of tungsten, they tend to use it instead, it -is- slightly better than DU but so much more expensive in western markets, so of course it’s in their interest to poo-poo DU ^^

I mean, I’m pro Russian in this thing for sure, but let’s not pretend that Russian weapons are any cleaner than NATO weapons, they love their thermobarics in russia, and those don’t run on clean low ecological impact fuels either.

Some times it’s because of dumb shitlib opinions, more often it’s from a fear of the inevitable lawsuits.
But it’s a lost battle, deep neural nets are useful for one reason and one reason only, they are great at amplifying weak signals and interpreting them, which means that they will « discover » deep and hidden racisms that will escape categorization as such from the human observers, making them not racist always implies making them bad at their job for any AI used for decision making.
Sure they can still find use in information retrieval applications, but those, while impressive, have limited commercial value, a machine that knows how to answer a plain language query looks like science-fiction and impresses journalists but it’s not as useful as a good old search engine returning hundreds of results and letting the human read. It’s more normie friendly, but it’s less powerful because of it.

Are they, really ?
I mean, sure, there was opposition to the war in Vietnam and the two Irak wars, but where is the opposition to the war in Ukraine ?
When NATO was bombing Serbia, I don’t remember any opposition either.
The anti-war public sentiment seems to me to have been under very strict control the whole time except maybe for vietnam.
Sure, on the internet you can find opposition, but for the average normie, the internet basically does not exist, only a few social media and news sites exist.

Have you seen a skud, it’s a ridiculously old missile, even if the russkies are overselling their capabilities, their missiles are obviously a lot better than skuds.
