     Are they, really ?

     I mean, sure, there was opposition to the war in Vietnam and the two Irak wars, but where is the opposition to the war in Ukraine ?

     When NATO was bombing Serbia, I don’t remember any opposition either.

     The anti-war public sentiment seems to me to have been under very strict control the whole time except maybe for vietnam.

     Sure, on the internet you can find opposition, but for the average normie, the internet basically does not exist, only a few social media and news sites exist.

     @MyLittleFashy @TeaTootler @Ariovistus @ArdainianRight @1nter4ri The opposition was mostly conservatives who saw it as wagging the dog and there was some local opposition, but considering how short it was there really wasn't a lot of time for any sustained campaign, but you're correct that Anti-War activism is not tolerated to the same level when the blue Neoliberals are in power.

     Since then of course when it comes to the mid east wars they've got a better method, just run the anti-war movement, make it entirely made up of people who wouldn't serve anyway and focus their hatred at those who would serve, thus causing the latter demographic to actually support the war as a reaction.
