@Vril_Oreilly@Zerglingman@greentext Yeah many indie games fall into that territory, as well as naive asian developers. They lean towards "appeasement" so when people tell them they need to be more careful of others they will buckle under the pressure Eventually they either lose creative energy or go full woke. Keita Takahashi (creator of Katamari Damacy) is a good example. He's now making this "feel good" game with zero white people in it. Published by Annapurna, which are total woke leftists.
@Zerglingman@greentext Actually the developer for that seems to be South Korean, but it still gives me that "overly wholesome" vibe a little bit, maybe they're just really naive. On twitter their dev studio is following stuff like Celeste, Jason Schreier, etc
@Zerglingman@greentext There is an indie game called Little Witch in the Woods. It seems okay and like Atelier, but the developers are probably leftist furries to some degree
@coolboymew I always used to call my mom by her real name, probably because that's what my dad called her. It wasn't until she helped out in the school lunch room and everybody called her that when I came around to calling her mom
Energy blasts, teleportation, telepathy, etc. Many of them have relevant elements, but usually focus more on semi-physical settings. That probably helps people relate to them more and understand better anyways.
@Hoss@Griffith@sjw I can see this as some of the subversion that BAP has been trying to do. Rallying young men against "longhouses" (tight knit family groups living in the same place)
Simply the idea that the children need to go out and get their own homes (by taking huge loans and piling on debt) is not sustainable any more. FZTA6CRVQAAIBdz.jpg
@Wormwood The asexual, non-binary stuff, is very common with younger girls. Partially out of attention seeking behaviour. It was common on Tumblr before this as well. The smarter girls will tend towards that "asexual, pansexual, etc" rather than the others. They need to couch their desire to actually have a stable family in trendy and accepted terminology.
