     @Zerglingman @greentext There is an indie game called Little Witch in the Woods. It seems okay and like Atelier, but the developers are probably leftist furries to some degree

     @Zerglingman @greentext Actually the developer for that seems to be South Korean, but it still gives me that "overly wholesome" vibe a little bit, maybe they're just really naive.
     On twitter their dev studio is following stuff like Celeste, Jason Schreier, etc

     Reminds me of stardew valley. It's a comfy game and all but I wanna throw up when people start on about "star dew valley is my therapy, stardew valley cured my depression etc"

     @Vril_Oreilly @Zerglingman @greentext Yeah many indie games fall into that territory, as well as naive asian developers. They lean towards "appeasement" so when people tell them they need to be more careful of others they will buckle under the pressure
     Eventually they either lose creative energy or go full woke. Keita Takahashi (creator of Katamari Damacy) is a good example. He's now making this "feel good" game with zero white people in it. Published by Annapurna, which are total woke leftists.
