    There was an interesting take from @martianwyrdlord on a recent podcast.

    He pointed out that poojeet immigration skyrocketed relatively recently. The west positioned itself against China and Russia, but doesn't have the population to fight them. Who has a longstanding enmity with the Chinese and huge population? India...

    People have minimal responsibilities during high school. No bills to worry about, and looking back the occasional homework was no big deal. They were young and healthy, the easiest time in life.

    May also keep thinking about a few things they would have done different and better.
