   I like how my brothers just toss in animu gorls to the collection with no care for how much space it takes up. Sometimes they mention their equipment and I'm the only guy with normie HDD spaces, they all have muilti-unit 18tb RAID arrays

   Meanwhile I'm filling up 2tb pocket drives that randomly end up sticking around on my desk whenever I actually go to the office

   I guess this one isn't THAT big, only half a mb but still.....

     Like why is THIS stupid file 2.1 mb when it's low res? It's a jpeg, where's this hidden data? Is there some trickery going on here?

     The riamu shot is 1.4 mb and that looks more like it, it blows up on the monitor real nice, doesn't look like ass

I know because every time we're trying to middleman something from either one nobody downstream of us can see the pics - always "IDK what this ayy-viff is, but my computer says its broken"

     @suquili @WashedOutGundamPilot It's far & away superior to JPEG for storing images. Personally prefer avif, but its support in various applications is still spotty. Pleroma, for example, HATES avif.
