@ArdainianRight I think the big change between the old and new GOP establishment is sincerity. The CoC knew they were looters, and Lindsay Graham knew that being a Judas goat was something shameful and repulsive. The H1B tech looters sincerely believe that they're genius captains of industry, and the Crenshaws and Kinzingers sincerely believe that their role is a position of prestige. This results in social media freakouts when people show them the level of respect that they deserve.

@ArdainianRight The general criticism isn't wrong - there are a bunch of accounts that follow the described blueprint - but Fuentes does a terrible job of selling his point.
I increasingly feel like that's the point of him. Say true things in the most unappealing way possible, like so many other glowie 'wn' groups.

The second things are no longer self-sustaining, they're either permanently liferuined or completely compromised, either explicitly or by means of having to make completely sure that they never get banned because social media is their only source of income.

@WashedOutGundamPilot @Hoss I think this is true but it's not astroturf. The effeminate redditor mind thinks that grabbing some old true (or true-ish) right wing meme and swapping out the words is the cleverest thing that anyone's ever done.
Remember how they tried to reskin the "Biden is demented" attacks against Trump, and kept at it for months even when nobody bought in.

@ArdainianRight I was expecting a steal, but I guess the presence of an uncontrolled social media site makes that too risky for them to try twice.

The silver lining here is that Zoomer / Gen A girls are learning from millennial womens' mistakes. An entire generation of women is permanently unmarriageable, but that's a strong selection effect, and we needed a bunch of bachelors anyways for what comes next.

@ChristiJunior @Griffith @ArdainianRight @PopulistRight Added bonus of Trump is that the regime is way too invested in not allowing him back into power. These people are neurotic in the best of times, and these are not the best of times for them. He is at least signaling retaliation, and they are willing to burn everything down to try to stop him.
I think, if Trump actually does manage to get through an entire extra month (or several) of them filling out fake ballots after election day somehow, it's just outright the end of them. They'll throw all of their resources at him, until they have nothing left. Same deal as how the Ukraine kept pushing into an unwinnable war instead of taking a very favorable peace deal back when Russia saw the war as a "just correct their behavior so they won't try to put missiles on our border again" thing instead of an existential conflict necessitating total victory.
