He built all the furniture in my nursery/bedroom (quality shit, my kids are currently using it) on his back porch using a ShopSmith he got used for under $1k in 1990, now has a 4 car garage filled with probably $75k of name-brand equipment and hasn't built anything in years.

@WashedOutGundamPilot @Eiregoat @Whitewall_Blasphemy There are major issues with the water table falling in the Ogallala. I know guys that have had to re-drill new wells (for home use as well as field irrigation) quite a bit deeper because of it.

Maybe growing cotton in the desert wasn't the best idea.

@WashedOutGundamPilot @MeBigbrain Tom Woods has a good show and he's not afraid to bring on edgy guests. Pete Quinones has a lot of the qualities that made 2016 TRS fun. Racist libertarianism, guests who don't always know what they're getting in to, witty, and not afraid to admit when he had no idea what the fuck he's talking about.

Cantwell's post-prison arc has also been really interesting.

@MeBigbrain @WashedOutGundamPilot Would caution that people with "life experience" in the current year are, as a general rule, fucking degenerates. People do real work instead of bullshit make-work for a reason, and it's usually more antisocial tendencies than a desire to have a tangible job.

I have met precious few journeymen electricians past the age of 40 that are worth a shit. The guys that don't have serious flaws get their masters license and open their own shops, are appointed foreman/superintendent, or are desk jockeys by that age.

@MeBigbrain @WashedOutGundamPilot I think it's prudent to generalize Paul's criteria for pastors laid out in Timothy for all teachers. People who do not live successful and ordered home lives should not be trusted for any knowledge of any sort, and should only be looked at as object lessons.
