   I love bicycles and all, but dammit the hobby is so gay

   Really, being able to commute to work that way would be a dream, but you’d need a MUCH different population in order to make it work.

     the "fuck cars I ride a bike" people probably live in some filthy city that makes the commute short.
     
     Whereas most of the biking done where I live is trail biking because trying to bike to work is a suicide trip and like 20+ miles.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot Bikes have a use case but not on major thoroughfares. Also "winter" and "rain" exist.
