Robert Reich debunks economic myth #1. Economics, when Adam Smith founded it, was about questions such as the meaning of a good society. What sort of society do we want? How do we understand a “good” society? What do we owe one another as members of such a society? He called himself a moral …
@MK2boogaloo@SuperSnekFriend people forget it's not Russia that wants war, not Russia that wanted this conflict. It's the Jew-run US government that wants Russia destroyed and split.
No matter how far their one world government schemes advance, Russia, the greatest country on earth by sheer landmass with immeasurable resources, some very rare, would always be a thorn in their side. And with a Russia gradually moving away from the Western dialectic of Liberalism towards a more genuine Russian identity aligned with its Orthodox Christian ethos, and with Russia being a considerable military power, leads to the forcing of the Jewish hand in the US to designate Russia as global enemy #1.
This is why the US toppled the Ukrainian government in 2014 (Maidan). Why it armed the UAF to the teeth. Why the Ukrainian Nazis supported by US psychos started butchering and ethnically cleansing Eastern Ukrainians, who are Russian by ethnicity. After years of this charade Ukraine became the strongest army in Europe, amassing immense numbers along the Russian border. This is why Russia eventually was forced to march into Ukraine. Many say too late, and they may be right. Even now there are voices from state-owned Russian think-tanks that demand this conflict is finally declared to be a war with mass mobilization.
I've daily driven Linux for ten years now, had some problems here and there, but had problems with whatever windows computer I've had as well.
All software is simply terrible. Simple as :)
For me, the #1 issue is the filesystem on windows. When I had XP if was fine and made enough sense. With 11 I literally get fuckin mad at the computer like an old man
YT premium gives you access to the exact same content but without ads, there is no exclusivity and you can unlock the #1 feature with the uBO browser extension.
I know linus tech tips tried with floatplane but that was mostly tech content which is a small niche.
It didn't turn out the way I expected, but it was much better than most homemade pizzas I've tried. The dough was just like ordinary, homemade pizza dough however because a family member insisted that they made the dough (they probably took pride in their own pizza and hated that I was trying to make something more "professional"). The dough I used didn't have high-gluten bread flour and instead used regular flour only. I also underestimated how much the dough was going to rise.
I think what truly changed the game was the cheese. Everyone assumes that since pizza is Italian, you are supposed to use Italian cheese, but it's actually a mix between Mozzarella, Parmesan, and Romano that you should use. You should also sprinkle a little bit of oregano on it. I think I overdid the oregano.
Best pizza I could compare it to is Sbarro's pizza because they also overuse oregano (at least from my experience). Sauce and cheese were fine, but the dough still gave it the "homemade" vibe. I expected the stone to make it crispy, but I guess it really needed that bread flour.
Maybe I should try a New Jersey-style bar pizza next time.
@Linux4Everyone would worry about the nuance of #1. I think as stated it's _technically_ a myth because installing Linux itself is a breeze, but honestly dual booting is such a high risk manoeuvre. In my eyes it's the biggest issue with Linux these days and almost an anti-trust suite against Microsoft waiting to happen if anyone had the actual money for it.
@mdiluz INSTALLING it is easy. Dual-booting is definitely not.
Fortunately (or unfortunately), #1 was already produced in 2021. And yea, the dual-booting situation hasn't changed much, has it? I still make mistakes and I've set up dual-boot environments at least 50 times.
