@splitshockvirus literally the opposite. I got some non-stretch cohesive grip tape and it's tacky and rough as hell. It's a game changer for my dip bar, now I'm not slipping and sliding on slick painted metal.
@adachi@azure normal rules don't apply when you're a street hoopa'. You're already fundamentally being loud and obnoxious banging your ball over and over.
@adachi@azure funny thing is most basketball shoes get torn up on asphalt. I've looked at nice basketball shoes but I can't justify more than clearance prices for outdoor hooping. They're consumables.
@RustyCrab they're all busy thristing to thots on instagram

CrunkLord420>hear hockey tapes makes good grip tape >no hockey tape reviews by hockey players >many reviews by glock owners I'm telling you, it's startling how there's basically zero information about sports equipment when compared to everything else. You can find reviews for obscure mechanical keyboard switches but not like a baseball bat.
@colonelj@deadheat nope, last time I tried a one arm dead hang it was surprisingly hard. I'd rather just do weighted. Plus I'm busy with frog-stand and front lever progressions.
@deadheat@colonelj I remember when I was doing ledge pull ups on vacation and my dominant hand was getting torn up way quicker than my weaker hand. Is that because I pulling harder on my dominant side? Maybe. It felt symmetrical to me.
But now I'm up doing like 50 reps of penalty shots on a single arm. I just gotta start doing more weak arm practice.
@i there's one boomer on YouTube who just posts endless of videos of his 20min solo sesh with a new basketball each time. He claims to have 150 basketballs.
