@s2208 @Bad_Banner They were told for years that no one would stop them if they crossed. More, if they came, the feds would pay them. That was the big deal on Day 1; they were all holding up their phones outside the border showing the .gov website rejecting them.

It's two things: they were all given free money ($5,000/month) plus jobs and housing. That stopped Day 1. And if they're caught, they're sent back.

No longer worth the trip.

@judgedread There was a movie about ancient Rome, same timeline as Gladiator, released something like 1964. Absolutely epic. Everything every red-blooded American wanted to see about the literal Foundation of the West.

Right at the critical decision point, inside the Senate, a debate raged between those ignorant bigoted Romans and the smart and reasonable Greek-on-a-leash that was allowed to speak. The subject was about extending Roman citizenship to non-Romans.

This massively influential political speech was cloaked. Exact same topic, given the Civil Rights Act. People were brought to support it because they enjoyed the movie.

What the movie didn't discuss was that Rome had been extending "citizenship-without-voting-rights" for hundreds of years by that time.

Nor did it mention the rapid decline that took place immediately afterwards.

@judgedread If he had re-released the same films, no updates or "remastering", just re-released to the theaters in a cycle every ten years (i.e. 77,80,83 - 87,90,93 - 97,00,03) he could have kept interest high.

If he'd been developing the Prequels, he could have released the first one in the every-three-years cycle and worked with a new pattern (77,80,83,86,89,92).

Instead, we had Blockbuster Video. I taped Star Wars one night when it was playing on the local UHF channel. That was it. No other contact with the greatest movies ever made.

They're obsessed with material wealth and not above stealing if they're guaranteed to not-get-caught: the Shame of getting caught is what prevents the theft, not the internalized Guilt of doing something wrong like stealing.

The pairings are poor with Whites, as the internal motivations are different. BUT, for a young man who just wants to be appreciated for bringing-home-the-bacon, the allure of a woman willing to give him exclusive sex in exchange for him working really hard to make lots of money...

...the comparison for him is a White woman who will argue day-and-night about how she shouldn't have-to, and she doesn't need-to, and why-should-she...

Just as an aside; if I follow Trump's direction, he's going to (try to) end each of the war's that we're involved in.

If I'm correct in that, it would imply that Team B knows we need to rebuild, as the more involved we are (now) in war, the more we lose.

We do not "Rule The World", so Russia, China, and Iran get a vote. But they appear to love their own people enough to not start any new wars. China may want Taiwan, but they don't need to invade to get it. They'll have Taiwan just by being better than The West.
