    @butterdog IRL, all the fat woman would be way more attractive being slim, like I doubt a case of the opposite exists.
    I don't know if anime/manga is being used to trojan horse these ideas because they make the characters look "good" even while being on the fat side. I'll be that guy that says it: anime/manga drawings are fiction and shouldn't be associated with real life (and that's why I don't care about loli).

    @Cayhr That's why I think sarcasm or any kind of "forced irony" should be reserved for comedy or in a context where people are VERY aware of it, otherwise it shouldn't be used.
    Like If I see an anon doing it and I can't discern if he is trying to be funny or he means the opposite I can't be bothered to continue the exchange.

    @Cayhr The best remedy for FOMO is gacha games.
    I "play" Puzzle & Dragons, but lately I have a hard time even login daily, I like the core gameplay, but the game has become bloated in timed/gated events and some extra gameplay modes and mechanics that now it repulses me.

    I had that moment 3 years ago, installed debian, one year later switched to endeavouros ("easy" arch btw) and I'll probably stay.
    Each one has it's cons and pros, but if you install debian stable (or anything based on it) and "stable" is too "outdated" for you, I recomend switching to a rolling release like arch.
    The issue with debian/ubuntu based distros tend to have outdated packages, even in unstable/sid, so you have to circumvent the package manager (bad) and add repos or install/update/mantain manually, arch is not perfect but it's way ahead of debian/ubuntu (mostly thanks to the aur). Also pacman > apt.

    @weaf Imagine not being moon immune/hellthread-free.
    Not that I participate in any but between how bad the fediverse format is for hellthreads and how federation sometimes fuckups post order, I don't think I'll ever participate in any willingly.
    Hellthreads will never stop reminding me how "good old regular forums" are superior for that type of discussions (which is a bit depressing TBH).

    @weaf Looking back at media once you are up to speed... holy fuck pieces fall into place, a movie made by a jew, about at an alien bonding with a white and the audience should feel empathy, a 4D chess move indeed...
    Re-watching some adult-comedy (after getting red-pilled) like the The Simpsons or Seinfeld, some episodes are dark (and I'm not talking about the Halloween specials those a tend to be more self-aware), like the saving grace is the tone otherwise pure horror.

    @weaf About the audio thing, OG sounds like the sounds and people talking are near to the listener, which "sounds better" but it really shouldn't sound like that, the newer version is more "realistic". To be honest I would turn the atmospheric audio (if it's possible, I don't know).

    @weaf I haven't played the game but from the video the only thing wrong about the newer game is the lack of atmospheric tracks, removed short scenes (which I'm neutral because it's less time wasted) and the dialogue changes, and maybe the different lightning, but that's probably because of the limitations at the time.
