Imagine the smell

@Suzu I don't have to imagine it, I have been in net cafes. :ina_nod:

@Suzu I've been in a few of those back in the early 200x.
Some happened in summer so it's close, the nostalgia, aaa~

@kamehamic To be honest, I'm old enough to have been in "LAN parties" with friends in the 2000's, we used to gather every weekend on the place of a friend who lived in the outskirts of the town and had a "festive hall" separated from the house. We gathered 10-12 people and played Medal of Honor and shit like that the entire weekend.
But I've never been in a "festival" like the one pictured.

@Suzu @kamehamic Usually, we didn't have PCs of our own, we just paid for a few hours and played all type of shit, like DotA, racing games, CS, Starcraft or MMOs.

@Immahnoob @kamehamic oh, yeah, I remember those too. We called them "LAN houses".
It was more of a thing in the later half of the 2000's here, and I used to go to them when people did an "all nighter" (a bunch of people gathered and paid a fixed price to spend the whole night playing).
We did it mostly because some people didn't have their own PCs, and also because it was way easier to pay 20 bucks to the guy so we could play the whole night than it was to carry around 40 pounds of equipment, plug in everything and set up the LAN everytime.
