    If you don't care about ensuring your free software remains free, please use an acceptably written free license that at least prevents patent treachery like Apache 2.0.

    @snacks @lucy Insane weapon laws don't do anything against those with a will, the skill and a hardware store (or a scrapyard, or even just a dumped car), even in Japan.

    The main thing that actually prevents improvised firearms is that incompetent manufacture or packing too much powder tends to result in an explosion that injures or kills the operator.

    In this case, with the context of audio playback, either vinyl or record will do, as anyone who knows anything about legacy audio actually knows what a vinyl record is, very much unlike the many people who don't know that Linux is only a kernel and that GNU exists.

    You can trivially cut 20mm in half to get 10mm and again to get 5mm, or even add or subtract whatever number of mm to want to get 6mm or 15mm.

    Being limited to 0.25in, 0.5in. 0.75in, 1in is quite sad and results in poor accuracy.
