@adiz @VD15 They included a rootkit anti cheat system, nprotect gameguard. This anti cheat system interferes with the game, interferes with other programs, interferes with operation of computer hardware (it can lock your hard drive), and also runs in background exporting data to gameguard (filenames, search terms, browsing history).

Gameguard sells this data to advertisers and other interested third parties, Sony and makers of Helldivers get a cut of the income. In fact game sales are a fraction of private data revenue income. This is why a PvE game which BY DEFINITION doesnt need an anticheat, has an anticheat installed.

@dubbub @TrevorGoodchild @SrbijaStronk Idk if minority/majority is a good measurement, since it depends on arbitrary borders. Eg even if every county but one in usa is minority white, there will still be that one county that kind of functions.

I think the measurement of systemic collapse is when they can no longer exert control over enough people. If the system orders a subordinate to do a thing, the subordinate refuses, and the system can no longer apply punishment.... thats the definition of collapse beginning. Collapse ends when the system controls nothing.
