I feel like this particular story is just the perfect example of white women being shit on by nonwhites for the crime of enjoying wholesome things, and ultimate proof that white people are not allowed to simply be happy while living in a society with these people:
In 2015 Asian artist Mitski released a song called "Strawberry blond", while the song sounds wholesome and very cute, with lyrics about bumblebees and fields of flowers, it sadly has a deeper meaning of non-white seethe. The song is actually about mitski's experience of being rejected by a white man, and rather accepting this rejection and not expecting sex from any random white man she shows romantic interest in, Mitski blames the rejection on "eurocentric beauty standards". Ultimately, the song means "It's systematic racism that white men don't wanna fuck me"
Fast forward a few years later, white women discover the song, don't realise it's cringe deeper meaning and focus on it's cute sounding surface. They make wholesome parodies on it about various strawberry animals, most notably the strawberry cow. With lyrics like "Look at you strawberry cow, you make me go wow, I love it when you moo my name" instead of the original lyrics "look at you strawberry blond". Eventually the strawberry cow infamy takes off, and it becomes a staple in white cottagecore communities. White women are making cute drawings and craft projects of pink "strawberry" cows, singing songs, doing strawberry themed makeup looks, and all sorts of lovely things to the tune of the strawberry cow parody. It became a genuinely cute and fun pass time that highlighted women's innate love of all things cute.
Well, when non-whites found out about this cute community trend they were furious. Deeming it racist because it took away from the original meaning of the song - which was white men how dare you not fuck me. Women all over the internet enjoying strawberry cow tunes and craft projects were bombarded with hate comments about how racist and ignorant they are, and the non-whites were completely furious at the one thing they hate most: seeing white women be happy. -

When my husband was a boy he was playing with a shark toy and pretending to attack the other toys with the shark and then the old children's counsellor that was evaluating him for (((adhd))) said to my mother in law that this was a sign he was aggressive and a violent boy that needs more intervention and help. My (early gen x basically boomer) parents have no shame. They made my brothers toddler porn habits a family inside joke and my dad is buying giant porn prints of the girls he was looking up to hang as decor in his room as a teenager for the "funny reference"
My family is not okay but I am working on forgiving them with my pastor
Surprisingly my brother actually turned out okay because while my dad would encourage porn use as normal I would focus on telling him the reality as the oldest sibling of all of them, and when my husband came into the picture and was able to be an actual positive male role model for him he quit porn completely because my hubby basically explained to him porn is why trannies exist lmfao. -

I don't know if any of you have teenage daughters or teenage family members but there is some horrific new coded language you need to be aware of. Young girls are starting severe self harm clubs worse than anything I've seen before. A trendy internet subculture called 988 culture (based on the last 3 numbers of the suicide hotline) where teenage girls egg eachother on to cut as deeply as possible, giving cutesy nicknames to different types of wounds. This movement is only growing, so if you overhear your daughters talking about "beans" or "bedrocking" you need to help them, urgently. -

@WashedOutGundamPilot @milk It's important to call out sin and we still should, but it is not good to get accusatory in the face of every sin and suggest that they aren't "real" as a Christian because this sends a message of works based salvation and makes people feel they are too dirty for Christ, thus also leaving the church.
There are ways to call out and forbid sin without taking it to extremities, most notably just pointing out how you are hurting God with your transgressions and it's not okay.
There are of course genuine persistent subverives who are not behaving in good faith and those need to be stamped out more harshly and straight up excommunicated, but a pastors job is to discern who is intending to subvert and who is just a lost sheep in need of guidance, which is what makes it a very difficult job.
Confronting sin is about the delivery for the most part. One key thing to Jesus' ministry that all of us must harness in this life was the fact that He knew His audience well and spoke in parables that specifically were relevant to them. Fish for the fisherman, seed and vineyards for the farmers etc. We too must master this skill because when we don't we can unintentionally do harm to the church.
Someone made an excellent post on here about how we need to be careful of egg carton jokes in case it hurts infertile women by mistake and that's the exact type of discernment people need to have when righteously calling out sin in the congregation. There needs to be a balance between progressive tranny "churches" and legalistic churches that shut their door to anyone human and sinful. -

Christians can have vices
Christians can have addictions
Christians can have degenerate pasts and some undisciplined Christians can even have degenerate presents
And they need correction, prayers and accountability from some sort of church authority, not to be pushed out of the faith unless they are genuinely unrepentant and subversive to others
The fact that even when we come to know Christ we still spit on His love every day is sadly human nature that requires constant maintainance. It's just more evidence of why we needed His sacrifice so much. -

And finally. Stay at home mothers aren't helped by having their plights aggressively mulled over. Homemakers are helped when their invisible domestic work becomes visible, yes, but also praised not resented, which is a thing the Christian right does really well, and what I hope to do with my account with all these cottagecore pictures.
