@Hyperhidrosis @Tony devops is awesome because you either wind up with someone who has 20 years of experience in all the esoteric "do everything" stuff required (you dont, she quit six months ago). @WashedOutGundamPilot @Lavaearth watched a fascinating video on fragging in this military and it was profound as a form of protest because:

- it was hard to prosecute or even detect

- soldiers were rarely convicted

- sentences were pathetically lenient in order to avoid drawing attention to the problem, and thus exacerbating the Viet Nam disaster.

My mother drank herself to death filled with rage and an axe to grind against anyone she met. She never accepted accountability for her actions, she always had an excuse. She was polite in company and vitriolic in private, and taught me to scorn others as lesser. She would insist I say please and thank you as a child, but never herself once uttered the words to others. Perhaps she wished I'd be better than her. Mom died blaming everyone around her for the world she lived in.

One of the hardest things ive had to do as an adult is learn the empathy and trust, sincerity and kindness to others I was never meant to express. How to maintain friendships and keep people I love close instead of pushing them away. Ive gotten okay at it; Better at listening, Better at trying to help people.

I never want to become as isolated and vitriolic as she was. I never want people to remember me for my spite.

In six months a gallon of gas will be more than expensive than an Applebee's dinner.

@Witch_Hunter_Siegfired @The_Almighty_Kek @mjdigspigs @CozyLife @sickburnbro look I dont have a dog in the fight, but what I'm getting at is you won't make it past the growing pains of simultaneously wiping out 11% of labor, nationalizing your core industries and realigning monetary policy to a "gold and labor" standard that will trigger an avalanche of GDP devaluation. They'll burn the Reichstag before you even raise the flag :/

You also need to backfill, and unless youre keen on sending octogenarians and pensioners to work in poultry processing fruit picking and janitorial labor I just dont see it. You'll wind up with an under employment crisis at the current 4% rate...there just aren't enough white people to make this happen.
