     The US capitalist class has for so long dominated without challenge nearly every domain that they have forgotten why Kissinger and other statesmen originally advocated for and financed things like USAID.
     
     With this power vacuum you've virtually guaranteed a smooth ride for China. USAID prevents competitors in hegemony. Without it youre left to fend for yourself against things like free chinese AI.
