I have flip-flopped on the idea a few times. But, the only real difference I can see between a Monarchy and this illusion of democracy we now have, is that a Monarchy probably wouldn't have a thin layer of fall-guys (who get replaced every other election cycle).
Although, there is still some burden for those in power to make their decisions seem populaces... I'm just not sure that out weighs being able to hang the fallout of said actions around the neck of a more permanent leader.

Maybe, but I suspect they attack it, because they hate anything with beauty or virtue. They don't want anyone to have a better vision to hold onto.
The same reason why they spent lots of time destroying Clowns, and then Cowboys. If you talk to old people who remember when those were good things. It becomes clear that anything that people enjoy is a target to be erased, by those who hate everything.

It reminds me of people, who will attack Christians, but keep their mouths shut about Muslims, because they are scared of bad people, but empowered to attack good and gentle people.
Being up staged by Sound of Freedom, when they don't even have the same exposure and liability, makes them look like scared bullies.

I can only imagine education for therapists/counselors, is a hellscape of the most asinine ideas you'll ever hear, but you'll have to convincingly repeat them for that degree.
