• mattress preference differences
• sleep time differences / waking the other person up getting into and out of bed
• schedule differences, especially for people who do shift work
• night washroom visit disturbances
• phone notifications, especially when on pager duty
• phone use, some people like using their phone in bed while trying to sleep for some reason
• snoring
• cpap machine interference / noise
• evening / morning shower preferences

long-term relationships shouldn’t be shackled to the idea that both parties have to sleep in the same bed / room every night in order to be healthy, if it works for you, great. but no one should feel like it’s out of the question to reorganize this.
