But can they vouch for her?
Suppose you know a guy and he says "Yeah, I'm worried about my niece. She's 23, having trouble with community college, ...". In this thread we're assuming the OP description is relatively complete, but in the real world she's almost certainly also on hard drugs (or at least SSRIs), carrying sort of deviant sexual identity, with a triple digit body count, a single mother, or very very fat.

I would like to believe that so much that I'm not going to look up the interview to confirm. -

He said that, while people around the US generally have the wrong impression of Texas, the recent migration from the rest of the country has brought a lot of people who came for that wrong impression and are willing to make it reality. So they've got a bunch of ex-Michiganders and Pennsylvanians and Washingtonians, all eager to buy ten gallon hats and secede.

Coral Castle ( coralcastle.com/ ) is a good example to counter-balance the wonders of the ancient world. I'm not going to claim that a scrawny Latvian in 1936 Florida used exactly the same techniques as the Inca, but it casts doubt on ideas such as "ancient aliens moved rocks for the Inca, now that they're gone there's no possible way we could do anything like it without a fleet of construction vehicles." -

Speaking for myself, I think that was part of the point. Hebrews 4:15 says "we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin". This is a reassurance to me. If I am hungry, even if I starve to death in the wilderness, I will know that I am not outside God's care.
From another perspective, I can never say "I am suffering. God has never known what it is to suffer like this, because whenever he was hungry he turned rocks to bread. He does not understand the difficulty of what he asks of me. He is an unjust God, and he is treating me unjustly, he is not worthy of my worship". Jesus does know what it is like to suffer, and to bear it far better than I.
If you have not read it, you may be interested in Dostoevsky's "The Grand Inquisitor", which includes a lot about the temptations. He argues that Christ's rejection of the temptations was related to the "freedom" aspect of salvation, and that the salvation Christ offers us is better than what would have come through accepting the temptations. -

It used to be that you could get an early-age IoT *plug thingy for $30 or so, root it into a full computer, and get all the advantages of an rPi without having to deal with their fanbase.
All those companies have probably stopped making hardware and shifted to SaaS, though, if they haven't gone out of business entirely.
