@IAMAL_PHARIUS Boy we sure love trolling the Philippines.

>In studying the folklore of the region, Lansdale’s team made a discovery of a creature that the locals believed to roam the hills known as the Aswang. The Aswang is comparable to a vampire-like creature that drinks its victim’s blood. The Huks would often operate out of the surrounding wooded area of a town and attack government forces, so Lansdale sent a team to where they were operating in an attempt to replicate the Aswang myth. Once they arrived the team kidnapped a fighter, poked holes in their neck, drained their blood, and left their body where it would be found. Once the dead, exsanguinated, body was found by the Huks, the remaining forces quickly left the area.

@WashedOutGundamPilot Well yeah anything that warps or diffracts the light is gonna result in lower energy. I'd be more worried about the wires coming loose from unfolding it too many times.
-
@WashedOutGundamPilot @BigDuck Lmao the article you got that pic from.
>launching blood drones via catapult
>they expect the little parachutes to always deploy or else splat
>they then fly the thing back and into a net to "land it"
this is some peak nigga technology.

@Terry @oliver It's certainly a good start. I just really love NTR.
-
@Terry Ah, yeah, if they're gonna build a rail gun they'll likely need an NPP.
-
@Terry Nah the railgun will be for sending out the mined material. Of course the US will say it's a weapon tho.

-
@Terry @oliver Oh, an NER. Shame.
-
@Terry @oliver Yeah it just lacks the sheer utility of a NTR. This one needs xenon and helium, while a NTR can run on just hydrogen or water, which are abundant in space. Xenon and helium, not so much.
(yes there is helium-3 on the moon but lmao it's at concentrations of at best 50 parts per billion, aka 150 tons of regolith processed per gram of helium-3 😂)
-
@Terry It better not be some small RTG.
-
@Terry They could probably make a pretty big RTG or series of RTG's and it would still technically count as a "nuke plant". I just doubt they're gonna plop the glorified steam engine of a proper NPP on the moon.
-
@Terry Have they outlined the purpose of the base anywhere? Mercury boilers and RTG's would probably be a lot easier to run.
-
@LouisConde @dictatordave @DW2 @sickburnbro Depends on what they actually want though. Good soldiers? lol no. A bunch of dissidents in prison or shot for disobeying conscription or just killed on the battlefield? Could be. Not like the conscription will be random, either.

@WashedOutGundamPilot Here's what it would look like if black.
