Exactly. I have worked with data my entire career. If you hire like ten people to verify this data full time and each finds one invalid or deceased recipient every three months they’re more than paying for themselves in that year. And saving you money every year after that. The verified ones you put a note in the record. Simple as. It’s irresponsible NOT to vet these discrepancies and document what you find.

You’re correct but if there’s one thing I’ve learned it’s that anyone posting the bad COBOL excuses that aren’t even true is also against actually verifying or correcting bad data. There’s no excuse for that. I do hope they learn more about COBOL though. It may be the only opportunity for them to learn about it.

They wouldn’t convert because the word Catholic is branded into their heads as evil. Even if you tell them what Catholicism actually is they’ll believe you are trying to trick them with lies.
A lot of Protestant sects also care deeply about their views on baptism, which is a sticking point, but they aren’t high church.

I generally find it a problem that they order the guy around but no cops have been called, and then they assault him for disobedience. Pederasts deserve death but nobody in that store should take these guys at their word and stand idly by while they do this. If they have a real case you call real cops once you’ve verified that he’s there. And then stall him while you wait.
