If people vote and power transitions accordingly, it's a democracy.
Too big to fail, maybe, but there's also the problem of very bad decisions made by the democracy.
I remember a month or so ago half the Fediverse was certain that the vote was rigged and voting was useless, so it's kind of funny to see democracy in action.
We'll see whether Trump can change anything (spoiler: most of it is legislative).
The new DNA analysis, which was centered on 82 individuals who lived between 800 B.C.E. and 1000 C.E., shows that these ancient people shared many of the same genes as their Roman neighbors.
Dvorak has been a steady voice for sanity in tech for almost forty years now. I trust him.
Curry has similarly spoken up many times over the years for realist sanity instead of the usual socialized, demoralized trend nonsense.
That being said, let's walk a mile in their shoes... they didn't want to get associated with the Voat/Poast stuff, and I get it.
That turns off their audience.
It also bores people because it is repetitive as fuck and not actually informative. Something went wrong in our souls, with equality class warfare, with how we followed Abrahamic religions, and with democracy and the war against the Kings.
Now we're bouncing back.
The Voat/Poast lantern jaw bleating of the JQ, Christ (who was Jewish err half-Arab), Christianity (which is Jewish err Arabic), and illogical conspiracy theories holds us back as much as the cuckservatives and the Left.
We need to aim toward fixing Western Civilization, which includes but is not limited to ethno-nationalism and capitalism (no socialism). We also gotta get rid of metaphysical dualism and other superstitions.
I have to disagree with John and Adam here: there is only one way to run the internet, and that is total free speech; the price of that is do-nothing Poast/Voat assholes who repeat the same tin drum crap about the Rich, Jews, Illuminati, elites, Satanists, and so on when it is obvious that democracy did this to itself.
I would suggest to Adam and John a simple fact that explains why they might have less listener support these days: you won the argument. That is, most of America now agrees with you about the M5M, the Tammany Hall political machine in Washington, and the nature of "psyops" or at least government-permitted tragedies that are used to keep the sheep in line.
You're doing great work. Time to push even further, and by that I mean looking into what killed the West and how to bounce back from it.
That would be under the classical liberal umbrella IMHO...

≠Federal toxicology researchers on Monday finally published a long-controversial analysis that claims to find a link between high levels of fluoride exposure and slightly lower IQs in children living in areas outside the US, mostly in China and India.
