If you haven't tried to learn Blender before, you have no idea what you're in for. Just try to make sure whatever videos you're watching are using the same version of Blender as you have.

I'm in the process of writing my own custom animation editor from scratch since it's easier than reliably getting useful data out of Blender.

As far as I understand, the -browsed daemon is just for the lazy magic "automatic printer discovery" shit that never works anyway.

I use firefox without pulse. Works fine. Upgrade to Gentoo.

Half the guys on fedi are 40 year old married men with 3 kids and the other other half are zoomers who can't manage to get out of bed without adderall and benzos.

Don't try to improve the lives of anyone but your family. And by family I mean your wife and kids, and then as a distant second your parents and siblings, and only if they cooperate.

Often the biggest problem in people's life is where they live. No jobs, high cost of living, crime, terrible weather, etc. Moving around the continent a couple times where my best decisions and made the biggest positive impact on my life.

It doesn't get better by itself. You can make your life better with a lot of effort. Usually this means swimming against the current.

PC gaming took off from a die-area standpoint, but it sets the general quality expectations for normies. They see some game running on a $2000 computer and expect to get something similar out of a console because that used to be the case 20 years ago. Consoles will either become very expensive or they will continue to significantly lag in performance. What's worse, people tend to have much higher resolution TVs than computer monitors. They expect those beautiful graphics in 4k. They don't want to pay for enough mm^2 of silicon dies to make it happen, and they don't understand why the situation changed.

The problem is that people expect to get the performance of a $1500 PC out of a $300 console. There's no way to swing that, even building the hardware cost into the games.

There's an easy way to not have sexual conversations with minors on the internet:

Theory: the main reason they want to kill him is not to get rid of him but to instigate a violent reaction which they'll use as the excuse for a full-blown communist coup and executing their opposition.

I think spice exists on a scale that is usually fixed in childhood. My wife (asian) doesn't even blink at dumping habanero salsa on things. I eat the normal "picante" salsa here in central Mexico with no problem, ones that locals tend to avoid as super spicy. My wife couldn't handle Thai level spice when we visited Thailand and had to order the medium level of spice. It's all relative.

I would go find out for myself, but it's too dangerous. I feel much safer here in *checks notes id card* Mexico.
