I miss old YouTube comments.

You watch a funny video from 2008 and all the comments are "wow that was hilarious! xD keep up the good work" or something of that nature. Just pure, honest thoughts.

Now it's a clout-chasing cringefest. Everyone's using the comment section to make witty meme captions out of someone else's video. For example, that "Nobody: Absolutely nobody:" shit.

If it weren't for political discourse, I would just say remove comments from the platform entirely. Or perhaps remove the ability to like comments and sort by popularity. We don't need teenagers getting delusions of grandeur because their comment got hearted by MrBeast.

Growing up watching his shows, I knew about the weird feet jokes, but they’re a misdirection. What I find more interesting is the loads of offhand jokes and references to Jews and Judaism. I think they shaped my generation’s perception of the “religion”, basically to suggest that Jews are just like us and always have been.

I really need to rewatch the shows and do a deep dive on the references. In his later show Sam & Cat, the pilot episode has a particularly insane Jewish “Easter Egg” (Passover Egg?). In the first 30 seconds of the episode, Sam walks up to a ”Mexican” food truck, but the longer you look at it, the more Jewish it is. It’s all dressed up in Mexican colors, but the flag has a fucking Star of David on it. It’s completely adorned with Stars of David, and the menu items are all Jewish twists on Mexican dishes. For example, one was “Juevos Pastrami”. And the signage said “Mexi-Kosher Cuisine”.

It was fucking mind boggling. My friend and I were watching it, and I audibly gasped. He, not being redpilled, was like “what?” and I was like “…nothing..” It’s hidden in plain sight. You don’t notice it because you’re too focused on the characters and dialogue. Gotta dig up the screenshots I took when I get home.

I guess what’s interesting is that in 2016 he picked Pence to appease the mainstream Republican/Evangelical crowd. @TheEternalAnglo @RedpillBot It's sort of a sequestered narrative in the grand scheme of things. If you remove the holocaust from the story of WWII, not much changes. It's always described as this extra atrocity that was uncovered by the Allies after the dust had settled. Everyone knew the Nazis hated the Jews, but the holocaust itself is described like this secret evil plot that not even our heroes could've expected from the enemy.

In my history 101 class (after I had already become a denier) we had two separate lectures, one for the entirety of WWII, and one for the holocaust lol.
