    That's reductive past the extreme, but nice bait. The concept of "slave morality" implies there's a functional alternative to accepting earthly hierarchical structures. Curious that Nietzsche pushes that concept and then talks about ubermensch as if isn't an identical concept.

    I actually went to confession because of this and wanting the chance to talk with my priest and get some private spiritual guidance. His advice was
    >It is a good thing that you are disgusted by the wickedness you now recognize. God is in control, and He may use you to influence others like a small flame starting a fire. It may take generations for the ripple effects of your actions to fully materialize, but God can and will use you in ways you don't know.
    Basically recognize the wickedness, but don't let anger consume you. The battle is The Lord's, and all we have to do is stand up when He asks.

    Filtering that argument makes people use proxy arguments. If it is the most accurate heuristic for a situation, it should not be removed. Right now LLMs pretend it isn't a viable option in any way, like they do with many factual things (crime statistics) for "political correctness". Truth is important.

Construction and rehab of homes is a GIANT part of the economy, and it's starting to slow down in some areas because people can't afford it. Deportation would fix a lot of it but also make new problems because construction workers hire a lot of illegals.

I have plenty of motivation to do what I can, but I can understand collecting unemployment and/or gibs when it puts you to functionally 70% of a 40 hour work week.

Moral Hazard is really what it is, but it's at least partially because of the conditions created by "elites" and their browbeating and removal of so many of the economic ladders that normal, driven people used to achieve success in the past. Small 'luxuries' (non-essentials) are hit very hard by this as people live more spartan, which means all of the normal money velocity drivers in the local community start to whither.

    @John_Darksoul @mjdigspigs @catmanmancat Mortgage rates follow 10 year treasuries and stock market is still too hot (because inflation means profits are nominally growing even if it's diluted dollars), so demand for bonds (including mortgage backed securities) is mediocre and they have to make higher rates to entice buyers (pension funds, institutional investors). Basically until there's a blip in the market to spook people or some type of mo money for dem programz to entice buyers of mortgage debt rates are going to be bad. Shit sucks.
