@p @amerika @dcc @Forestofenchantment @PurpCat @nach @0 @SockPuppet @eriner @istvan @viber @dj @FourOh-LLC @doonxib @Hoss I use Privacy Badger and it's pretty interesting, it blocks those trackers, like Google or Facebook bullshit that is added to the page, and works pretty well. I have no idea what Privacy Possum would do to screw them, tho.
As for the ads, I'm not entirely sure of all the intricacies, but I'm pretty sure there is some sort of algorithm that checks click retention and shit like that, that may "rate" ads to determine how much they'll pay for click and even demonetizing ads/pages that serve only bogus clicks, to avoid stuff like botting. So it may hurt ad farm pages, but yeah, as you said, this is the kind of thing that would only really hurt if a lot of people started using it, kinda ddosing the ad servers.
Either way, I guess I'll check them and install them on my home pc browser when I get back.
